QuantumPOS — Terms & Conditions of Sale
These terms apply to purchases made through the QuantumPOS website. Please read them together with our Warranty & Returns Information and any product-specific conditions provided before purchase.
1. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
Where consumer guarantees apply, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or compensation, depending on the circumstances.
2. Product descriptions and suitability
Please review the product description, specifications and package inclusions before placing an order.
Only the equipment, accessories, software licences and services listed as included form part of your purchase. Product photographs may show optional accessories, example configurations and AI produced images for illustration purposes.
If you require a product to work with particular hardware, software, printers, scanners, cash drawers or payment terminals, please contact us before purchasing so we can confirm compatibility.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in Australian dollars. Delivery charges and any optional service charges will be disclosed before you complete your purchase.
Payment must be received before goods are dispatched or software activation details are supplied, unless we have agreed to another arrangement in writing.
If we identify an error in a price or product description affecting your order, we will contact you to explain the issue. We will not charge an increased amount or supply a substitute without your agreement. If we cannot agree on how to proceed, we will cancel the affected item and refund the amount paid for it.
5. Stock availability and pre-orders
Products marked as pre-order or backorder are not available for immediate dispatch. Any estimated availability or dispatch date will be stated where known.
We will notify you of significant delays and discuss the available options. If we cannot supply an ordered item, we will offer a suitable alternative for your approval or a refund.
Nothing in this section limits your rights where goods are not supplied within an agreed or otherwise reasonable timeframe.
6. Delivery
Please provide an accurate delivery address and contact details when ordering. Contact us promptly if these details need to change.
Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but may be affected by stock availability, destination and courier delays. We will assist with delivery enquiries, including lost or damaged shipments.
If additional delivery costs arise because you supplied an incorrect address or failed to collect an order, you are responsible for any charges of fees added to the delivery.
Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us if anything is missing, damaged or incorrect. Photographs and retained packaging can help us assess delivery damage. Delayed reporting does not automatically remove your statutory rights.
7. Installation, programming and training
Installation, product programming, data migration, training and onsite support are included only where expressly stated in the product listing or written quotation.
For any separately purchased setup service, we will confirm the scope of work and charges before proceeding.
Please provide accurate information needed for programming, such as product names, prices, departments and tax settings. We recommend reviewing the completed setup before using the system for live trading. We remain responsible for carrying out agreed services with due care and skill.
8. Software licences and activation
Software is supplied under the licence terms applicable to the product and edition purchased. Any limits on devices, users, included modules or licence transfers will be disclosed before purchase.
A one-time software purchase covers the licence and features described in the relevant listing. It does not automatically include optional modules, third-party subscriptions or separately quoted services.
Keep activation codes and account credentials secure. Contact QuantumPOS before replacing a licensed device, transferring software or resetting equipment if this may affect activation.
Your statutory rights also apply to software where required by law.
9. EFTPOS and third-party services
EFTPOS integration requires a compatible payment terminal, supported integration and an appropriate merchant arrangement with the bank or payment provider.
Bank approval, transaction fees, settlement arrangements, terminal rental and third-party subscriptions are governed by the relevant provider’s agreement.
QuantumPOS can assist with compatibility and setup within the scope of the service purchased. We do not control third-party approvals, settlement times or service availability. This does not limit our responsibility for our own representations or services.
10. Warranty and faulty products
Our warranty arrangements and claim procedures are set out in our Warranty & Returns Information.
Please contact us before sending equipment back so we can assess the issue and provide return instructions. We may need to inspect or test the equipment to determine the cause of the problem and the appropriate remedy.
Warranty conditions do not replace or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Change-of-mind returns and exchanges
We do not offer refunds solely because you change your mind or select the wrong product.
Change-of-mind exchanges must be arranged with QuantumPOS before returning the goods. Return freight is payable by the customer, and a $50 restocking fee applies to these exchanges.
These charges and conditions do not apply where you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
If you wish to change or cancel an order before dispatch, contact us promptly so we can advise whether this can be arranged.
12. Data, backups and repairs
Please maintain current backups of your business data, including sales records, customer information, product databases and system settings.
Assessment, repair, updates, factory resets or replacement of equipment may result in data, software or settings being lost or changed. Where possible, complete a backup before submitting equipment for service.
Data backup, recovery and restoration are not included unless separately agreed in writing.
To the extent permitted by law, QuantumPOS is not responsible for loss or corruption of data, software or settings. This does not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Privacy
We use information provided with your order to process payments, arrange delivery, provide support and administer warranties, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary customer data by email. If access to your equipment is required for support, we will discuss an appropriate method with you.
14. Questions and complaints
If you have a concern about an order, product or service, please contact us with your order details and a description of the issue.
Phone: 0431-431-231 Email: quantumpos@gmail.com
We will review your concern and work with you towards an appropriate resolution.
15. Updates to these terms
We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms provided when you placed your order will continue to apply to that order unless we agree otherwise with you.
